The ceremony was officiated by United States Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield and included touching elements like a unity candle lighting with the grooms’ mothers, readings by Malone’s nieces and sisters, and an Irish blessing honoring Malone’s heritage. Don Lemon’s former CNN colleagues, including Dana Bash, Erin Burnett, and Kate Bolduan, were also present to celebrate the couple’s special day.

Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the iconic Polo Bar for dinner, dessert, and dancing. Interestingly, the couple opted to forgo a traditional wedding cake, instead indulging in the restaurant’s impressive dessert selection and a curated menu.

In lieu of gifts, Lemon and Malone requested donations to the South Hampton Animal Shelter, a meaningful gesture reflecting their love for their three dogs: Barkley, Boomer, and Gus. All three canine companions were present for the wedding festivities, though kept outside the church and Polo Bar to avoid any potential mishaps.

The grooms looked dapper in custom double-breasted suits from Suit Supply, with Lemon opting for green velvet and Malone choosing a blue hue. The couple plans to honeymoon on the southern coast of Italy in June.
